Many businesses and individuals use blogs to connect with clients, families, friends, etc. It has been suggested that Northgate begin its own blog to connect and inform; however, Northgate delayed and struggled with the idea because WHO wants to talk about insurance? This is not an exciting topic, and for many, the thought of insurance is boring, frustrating, and/or upsetting. Northgate was reluctant to begin this blog for these reasons, but the reality is there is a need in the industry and marketplace.

You will see a sample below of some of the topics Northgate intends to address with the blog. By gaining an understanding of insurance, you will be better served in its application. For many, these topics may be part of your job description and vocabulary. This is a way for Northgate to connect and educate. Each week Northgate will select a topic for the blog. NORTHGATE INSIGHTS

Technology is part of all of our lives and in many ways enable us to be more efficient. Especially during the pandemic, we all relied on technology more than ever. Whether it be our children or our careers, we were remote. As part of this transition, Northgate has developed a portal, InsurLink, that enables clients to access policy information and documents remotely. Through the portal, client information is shared. In real-time, Northgate clients can download or view auto ID cards, billing information, claim information, policy documents, etc.

Each client will receive an invitation email from Vertafore to create a login. Once the login is created, clients may access InsurLink through Northgate’s website www.northgateins.com. InsurLink is accessible from the desktop or mobile.
